Justin Hendrix has a USSF “D” License and has been coaching competitive and recreation soccer for 10 years. Justin grew up playing club soccer in the Salt Lake City area, including playing for an independent club Puma and ultimately for Sparta Premier.
Justin’s coaching philosophy is to focus on fundamentals. His teams spend countless hours developing ball skills to have confidence with the ball at their feet. However, his real purpose in coaching is to develop character, confidence, and the make soccer a positive experience for his team. His team values include: 1) Being on Time 2) Work Ethic 3) Effort 4) Body Language 5) Energy 6) Attitude 7) Passion 8) Being Coachable 9) Doing Extra and 10) Being Prepared. He consistently stresses these critical attributes and rewards his team for displaying these character traits on and off the pitch.
He currently coaches a Copper Mountain 2004 Girls team, a 2012 Copper Mountain Boys competition team and is an assistant coach for a USA U14 Girls team.
