Eric Adams

With over a decade of coaching experience, a USSF C License, and a background including two State Championships and semi-pro play, Eric Adams coaches two 2013 & 2016 Boys teams while serving as Technical Director for Copper Mountain Soccer Club.

Eric's coaching philosophy aligns with TOVO methodology, emphasizing the relationship between cognition, competence, and execution. His training sessions are designed for developing game awareness, and decision-making abilities within the context of the game.

As a lifelong student of the game, Eric integrates the TOVO triangle in every aspect of player and team development: building character (respect, resilience, accountability), enhancing cognition (vision, decision-making), and refining technical/tactical competence (execution). His teams take pride for their collective, dynamic, possession-based style that leverages positional awareness and spatial understanding.

Eric creates competitive environments where players develop autonomy, individual and collective game intelligence, and problem-solving skills—empowering them to become not just skilled soccer players, but thoughtful individuals who approach challenges with creativity and confidence both on and off the field.
